Technical Stuff:

Rocket Vision has recently introduced a new performance tool - a very fast (3.25 GHZ) mini PC.  It boasts the latest Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB memory with a fast and extremely stable solid state hard drive.  It effectively replaces two laptops working in harmony.

A full performance set up now includes:

  • Mini PC running VJamm 3
  • Dell Latitude D810 laptop running VJamm 3
  • 2 DVD decks
  • Panasonic WJ-MX50 AV mixing desk
A second WJ-MX50 AV mixer is available for providing alternative content at events with multiple screens.  This set up can be seen live on the "Three Minutes of Rocket Vision" DVD.

A reduced set up would typically involve using the mini PC to output directly to the projector(s) - no alternative sources and no mixer.  This could be a convenient cost effective solution for smaller events.

Rocket Vision content is normally a standard 4:3 aspect radio.  Where widescreen (16:9) output is required, at least 7 days prior notification will be needed.

Provision and set up of screens and projectors is the responsibility of the promoter.  In special circumstances, Rocket Vision can provide these elements, but an additional fee will be incurred.
